Justification by Faith
Rom. 5:1: Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ
Rom. 3:28: For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law.
Acts 3:39: and by him everyone who believes is freed from everything from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses
20: For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.
No one is justified by the works of the law.
Rom. 3:21: But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it –
The righteousness of God is revealed apart from the law.
Rom. 3:22: the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction:
Righteousness is by faith in Jesus Christ.
Rom. 3: 23: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
All have sinned and need God's forgiveness.
Rom. 3: 24: and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
Justification is a gift.
Rom. 3: 25: whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.
Christ's blood satisfied God's wrath.
Rom. 3: 26: It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
God justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
Rom. 3: 28: For we hold that one is justified by faith, apart from works of the law.
Justification is by faith apart from works.
Rom. 4: 5: And to the one who does not work but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness,
God justifies the ungodly through faith in Jesus Christ.
